Independent Living Support Worker – Level 1 | 8544 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £25,584 to £27,269 per annum plus weekend/bank holiday pay enhancements and sleep-in payments | Grade E | Costessey, Norwich

Our Supported Accommodation service works to create and promote a positive environment for each young person in the independent living scheme.

In this role, you will support young people, helping them to develop positive and effective independent living skills. You will contribute to making plans to support them and assist with their implementation, attending statutory reviews as required.

As a positive role model to the young people engaged in the independent living scheme, you will be excellent at forming effective relationships with young people and their families to ensure that their emotional and physical needs are met and opportunities for their development are maximised.

With previous experience of support work, you will have the ability to communicate clearly and engage with young people. Your organisational skills will enable you to plan and prioritise your workload effectively, and your eagerness to learn will develop new skills and learning.
