Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Care Assistant to support a female client in ME12 (Leysdown, Isle of Sheppey). The role includes personal care, hoist-assisted moving, and feeding via RIG tube, with periods of downtime and a supportive team.

You will work in pairs with shifts that may include evenings. An enhanced DBS, two references, and legal right to work in the UK are required; NHS funding is not involved. In-house training is provided; a workplace pension is available if eligible.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required; sponsorship is not available.
• Two references and an enhanced DBS check are required.
• Safeguarding training is mandatory for all employees.

Responsibilities

• Personal Care duties.
• Moving and handling with a hoist.
• Enteral feeding via RIG tube.
• General Housework and light domestic tasks.
• Driving a manual mobility vehicle when needed.
• Assisting with pets (dogs/cats).
• Meal preparation and domestic support.
• Support to remain independent and participate in activities.
