Job summary

INEOS Hull seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to join the Hull site, ensuring safe operation and reliable process instrumentation. You will provide day-based instrument support across Acetyls assets, working with engineers and operators to maximise equipment availability and meet SHE targets.

The role requires an apprenticeship with NVQ3, ONC/HNC preferred, and CompEX 01-04; familiarity with P&ID, DCS/PLC and ESD systems is desirable.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a recognised apprenticeship and NVQ3 or equivalent.
• ONC/HNC preferred.
• CompEX modules 01-04 certificate.
• BS7671 (current edition) IET Requirements for Electrical Installation certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-based instrument support service to the Hull assets, working with minimal supervision.
• Plan and coordinate work with engineers and operating technicians to maximise reliability and SHE performance.
