Imperial Health Charity is seeking a Grants Manager to lead and manage its grants programme from London. The role focuses on working independently, delivering grants efficiently and staying informed about NHS developments to benefit patients.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in delivering the charity’s grants programme under a new three-year strategy, coordinating internal colleagues and external partners to ensure effective grant-making.

Responsibilities

• Be an inspiring and empowering member of the grants team
• Deliver assigned grants programmes and contribute significantly to their design and implementation
• Contribute significantly to grants processes, ensuring they are fit for purpose
• Be able to work independently and have a keen eye for detail as well as the bigger picture
• Cultivate keyrelationships with internal colleagues, and external partners and stakeholders
• Be able to negotiate and provide practical advice and support to applicants and grantees
• Problem-solve and provide solutions to resolving problems arising in grant-making
• Have significant ability to multi-task and prioritise
• Have significant ability to work independently and set your own work deadlines as well as take account of the impact your deadlines may have on the rest of the team
