The Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) role is a full-time, on-site position based in Greater Manchester, working closely with Apollo Insurance Brokers’ client base. The IFA will meet with individual private clients and business clients to assess their financial goals, risk tolerance, and current arrangements, and provide independent, whole-of-market recommendations. Day-to-day tasks include preparing financial plans, advising on investments and retirement strategies, reviewing existing portfolios and policies, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards. The IFA will collaborate with insurance broking colleagues to deliver integrated advice, maintain accurate client records, and conduct regular reviews to keep clients’ financial strategies aligned with changing circumstances. The role also involves building new client relationships, delivering clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial matters, and staying up to date with market, product, and regulatory developments.
