Location: Aberdeenshire/Hybrid


Salary: 65k - 85k + Bonus + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time / Permanent
Qualifications: Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (minimum)



Overview:

Our client is seeking a motivated and professional Diploma-qualified Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) to join their established team. This is a servicing role focused on managing and developing an existing client bank.

You'll be supported by a dedicated paraplanning and administration team, allowing you to focus on building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering holistic financial advice.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide independent, whole-of-market financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, and estate planning.




  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring regular reviews and proactive service.




  • Identify new opportunities within the existing client base to improve their financial outcomes.




  • Work closely with the paraplanning and admin teams to ensure efficient and compliant report writing, suitability letters, and case progression.




  • Ensure advice complies with FCA regulations and internal compliance standards.




  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records via CRM systems.





Requirements:



  • Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (e.g. DipPFS, LIBF DipFA) - essential.




  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a financial adviser.




  • Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.




  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.




  • Competent IT skills; familiarity with industry CRM and back-office systems is desirable.




  • CAS (Competent Adviser Status)
