Independent Financial Adviser

Independent Financial Adviser - Hertfordshire & North London

At AFH, as we grow, we're looking for experienced financial advisers to join us. Be part of a progressive, client-focused, financial planning-led wealth management firm as a self-employed or employed adviser.

In this role, you will understand your clients' current and future financial goals and formulate easy-to-understand financial strategies, guiding your clients to financial independence.

This role offers home-based/remote working with access to office locations if preferred. There is an expectation to attend face-to-face client meetings.

Key Responsibilities as our Independent Financial Adviser include:

1. Follow the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long-term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes.
2. Review and respond to clients' changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping introducers and clients up to date with new financial products or legislative changes affecting pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans.
3. Acquire and develop new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers through personal planning, referrals, and lead generation programs.
4. Utilize marketing opportunities, including social media and networking, to develop new business.
5. Maintain good client and introducer relationships through meetings, seminars, and feedback.
6. Arrange meetings with clients in various environments, including offices, homes, or virtually via Microsoft Teams.
7. Conduct detailed reviews of clients' financial situations, analyze information, conduct research, and prepare tailored financial planning reports.
8. Provide accurate management information as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent, maintaining CF30 status per FCA regulations.
• Client-centric approach with professional presentation and communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and IT proficiency, including virtual communication tools.
• Experience in networking and business development to grow a client base, including building relationships with affinity groups, entrepreneurs, and professionals.
