Position Summary

The Independent Field Merchandiser will be responsible for promoting, executing and tracking Tampico’s brand performances in the designated market with the objective to accelerate depletions/volumes growth, through entrenched availability and visibility at points of purchase. The focus for this position will be on merchandising standards and executions, sponsorship activities, sampling activations and market insight generation. The Independent Field Merchandiser will directly manage relationships with store managers and shoppers, as well as collaborate with Licensee field officers, to deploy trade marketing plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage oversight of wholesalers, neighborhoods stores, and supermarkets.
• Planning, organizing, executing and tracking promotions, activations based on annual marketing plan.
• Managing trade marketing initiatives with marketing agencies.
• Contribute to creating and developing trade marketing plans.
• Ensuring Tampico’s visibility in store while executing merchandising plan.
• Analytical reporting of store activities, monthly pricing and distribution.
• Analyze and track market competitive landscape.
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in Sales activities in FMCG sector.
• Higher National Diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal fluency in French and English required.
• Excellent communication, interactive, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel locally 30% of the time.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office Experience.
• Must currently reside in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire.
