Job summary

Unitruc Ltd in Barking, Essex, is seeking an experienced 18T HGV Driver for a full-time, permanent role. You will drive for our customer on contract, with London deliveries and early starts, 5/6am, Mon-Fri, no nights out. Trucks are automatic, Euro 6, Volvos or DAFs.

The job emphasizes cargo care over speed and includes weekly pay, CPC/ADR training, and benefits after 1 year; 24 days holiday plus 4 bank holidays and an optional pension are available.

Qualifications

• Must value health and safety of yourself and others.
• Valid digital tachograph and CPC Card is required.
• Experience driving 18T HGV and palletised loads preferred.

Responsibilities

• Secure pallets and perform daily tachograph/vehicle checks legally.
• Complete 6–8 deliveries per day with 10–11 hour days.
• Communicate ETA to customers; plan routing and loads.
• London driving included; work Mon-Fri with no nights out.
• Ensure safety and cargo care; maintain professional conduct.
