Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Independently chair Initial, Review and other Child Protection Conferences.
• Ensure conferences are professional, child‑focused and well‑structured.
• Ensure relevant agencies contribute information and analysis.
• Represent the child’s voice, wishes and feelings.
• Facilitate discussion among professionals, parents and carers.
• Record clear conference decisions and communicate them to parties.
• Develop, monitor and review Child Protection Plans with measurable outcomes.
• Analyse risk factors and safeguard welfare throughout conferences.
