Job summary

Community Gateway Association invites an experienced finance leader to join its Board as an Independent Board Member from March 2027. The role focuses on governance, financial resilience and delivering strong outcomes for tenants in a tenant-led housing association based in Preston.

The successful candidate will bring expertise in finance, treasury and risk management to inform high standards of governance and financial viability while engaging in quarterly meetings and planning events.

Qualifications

• Experience in finance and accounting.
• Treasury experience.
• Audit and risk management experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and attend quarterly evening Board meetings in Preston.
• Attend two annual Board Planning Events.
• Occasional attendance at other meetings and events.

• Treasury
• Audit and risk management

The commitment:

Preparation for and attendance at quarterly evening Board meetings in Preston, two annual Board Planning Events, and occasional attendance at other meetings and events. The role is remunerated at£4,212 per annum.
