Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a hands-on Batching Plant Operative to join our site and help produce high-quality concrete and mortar while maintaining a safe, well-presented operation. The role suits someone who can work independently on a one-person site and take pride in plant efficiency and customer service.

You will operate the batching plant and Front-End Loader, perform routine maintenance, and monitor stock levels.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Front-End Loader and related plant equipment.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Produce concrete/mortar to exact requirements and maintain strong site communication.
• Operate the batching plant and FEL safely; perform routine maintenance and stock checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies.
