Job summary

Horton Housing Association in Selby is seeking two Support Coaches to join our LIFE team. The role is 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, focused on helping people become tenancy ready and access welfare and life skills coaching.

You will work with people in supported accommodation and the wider community, conduct welfare checks, and follow safeguarding policies to protect the people we support. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use are required.

Qualifications

• Empathy and caring towards people in difficult circumstances.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Resilience and adaptability to make sound decisions.
• Observant with ability to identify risk and follow safeguarding policies.
• Good ICT skills.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
