Job summary

Head First recruits Rehabilitation Support Workers to join a dedicated team providing one-to-one support to a young man in his 30s following a brain injury. Based in the Peacehaven area, roles are on a rolling rota with 24-hour shifts, covering weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.

Full training is provided to support complex health needs, including Addison's disease management. Candidates should be compassionate, reliable and organised, with a drive to promote independence and community

Qualifications

• Experience in care, rehabilitation, brain injury, or similar settings is advantageous.
• Full training provided and support available from a multidisciplinary team.
• Driver with a full driving licence is a stated requirement.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines, planning and organisation.
• Assist with rehabilitation goals set by therapists and the team.
• Encourage independence in everyday activities and social engagement.
• Support community access, outings and home life maintenance.
• Attend appointments, shopping and meal preparation as needed.
• Provide reliable, encouraging presence to promote wellbeing and rehabilitation.
