Job summary

Blackmoor Park Infants' School, a three-form entry school for ages 0 to 7 within The Three Saints Academy Trust, seeks a Fixed-term Teaching Assistant for January to August 2027. The role involves planning lessons with a class teacher, assessing progress and supporting children with complex learning or pastoral needs.

Term-time, 37 hours a week in an inclusive classroom where every child feels safe and valued.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a stimulating, inclusive classroom where children feel safe, valued and inspired to learn.
• Plan and deliver lessons alongside a class teacher.
• Assess children's progress.
• Support pupils with complex learning or pastoral needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child's development.
• Promote positive behaviour.
• Act as an advocate for children.
