Job summary

Kingsbury Green Academy is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to join our Support team. You will work with teachers and the SENCo to support students with SEND, in and out of the classroom, promoting inclusion and independence.

Experience with children and SEND support is desirable. The role is permanent, part-time (27.5 hours per week), term-time only, with hours 08:30-15:00, Monday to Friday, and an ASAP start. There is a relocation/annual leave context in the recruitment materials.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children is essential.
• Experience with SEND support is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND in and out of the classroom.
• Work closely with teachers and the SENCo to deliver targeted assistance.
• Promote student independence, inclusion and positive behaviour.
