Job summary

Leisure Solutions Community Trust is seeking an Inclusive Sport & Disability Coordinator to create opportunities for disabled children, young people and adults to access sport in an inclusive environment at Stoke Mandeville Stadium.

You will support programmes such as SEND Boccia, Visual Impairment Boccia and Children's Wheelchair Basketball, helping remove barriers and build pathways into regular sport.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering sport or physical activity programmes for disabled individuals.
• Experience supporting participants with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Understanding of inclusive coaching principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Passion for creating opportunities through sport and physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and promote inclusive sports programmes that support participation, accessibility and growth.
• Plan and deliver SEND Boccia, Visual Impairment Boccia and Children's Wheelchair Basketball sessions.
• Adapt coaching methods and equipment to meet diverse participant needs.
• Build partnerships with schools, colleges, disability organisations and community groups.
• Develop participant pathways to progression into clubs and competitions.
• Support programme promotion and collect data to demonstrate outcomes.
