Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking a passionate Sports Coach to work with students with SEND and SEMH needs in Telford and Shropshire. You will plan and deliver engaging, inclusive sports sessions tailored to individual abilities and needs, helping students build confidence, teamwork and resilience.

This role offers weekly PAYE pay, consultant support, and access to online training. A relevant coaching qualification or PE degree is desirable, with SEND/SEMH training advantageous.

Qualifications

• Relevant sports coaching qualification or a degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
• Additional training relating to SEND, SEMH, behaviour management, or inclusive education is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive sports sessions for students with SEND/SEMH.
• Adapt activities to accommodate different abilities and needs.
• Support learning plans with teachers and SENCO.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure safeguarding and safety procedures are followed.
