Job summary

NCG in Carlisle is seeking an Inclusive Learning Officer to coordinate and deliver annual EHCP reviews, ensuring full compliance with local authority and statutory requirements. You will act as a bridge between students, families, staff and local authorities, supporting learners through their EHCP journey, tracking progress and shaping outcomes.

Are you passionate about championing inclusive education and making a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs?

We are looking for a dedicated

Inclusive Learning Officer to join our dynamic Additional Learning Support (ALS) team.

In this vital role, you will lead on coordinating and delivering annual reviews for students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring full compliance with local authority and statutory requirements.

You will act as a bridge between students, families, staff, and local authorities-supporting learners through their EHCP journey and ensuring their needs are met, progress is tracked, and ambitions are achieved.

This is more than just an administrative role - it is a chance to shape positive outcomes for learners by helping design support packages that align expectations and personal aspirations.

From chairing review meetings and guiding students through the application process, to monitoring support provision and collaborating with curriculum teams, you will play a key part in delivering an outstanding learner experience.
