Job description

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Inclusive Learning Mentor provides a broad variety of holistic support to individual High Needs and SEND learners, enabling them to meet their aspirations. They offer Information, Advice, and Guidance (IAG) at all stages of the process, helping learners to set realistic targets, providing academic support, and working to break down barriers to learning. They monitor progress towards targets, liaise regularly with tutors, and offer guidance to help learners achieve their goals.

As an Inclusive Learning Mentor, you will also support learners with various learning difficulties and disabilities, run small group workshops on study skills, planning, and organizing work, and provide support with personal, social, and emotional issues that may impact progress.
