A leading college in Swindon is seeking an Inclusive Learning Lecturer to deliver outstanding teaching and support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The ideal candidate will have a Level 5 Teaching Qualification and experience in fostering inclusive learning environments. The Role

We are seeking an engaging and committed professional to deliver outstanding teaching and support for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will play a vital role in fostering inclusive learning environments, tailoring teaching approaches, and empowering every learner to reach their full potential.

Location: Swindon
Contract: Temporary, on-going

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver inclusive learning programmes designed to meet the diverse needs of learners with SEND.
  • Provide one-to-one and group support, encouraging independence, resilience, and confidence.
  • Create and adapt differentiated resources and strategies to support a wide range of learning needs.
  • Track and monitor learner progress, contributing effectively to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external partners to ensure learners achieve their best outcomes.
Requirements
  • A Level 5 Teaching Qualification (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working with young people with SEND in an educational setting.
  • Strong understanding of inclusive teaching methods and effective classroom management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting learners to overcome barriers and succeed in education.
