The successful candidate will conduct assessments for exam access arrangements and support students' academic journey. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support for a caseload of students with SEND and / or inclusion needs;
  • Undertake pre-entry assessments and regular reviews of students;
  • Complete any necessary formal assessments for Exam Access Arrangements (EAAs) and visual stress in line with College procedures and exam board regulations;
  • Produce SEND support plans; and
  • Lead on EHCP consultations and annual reviews.

Key Person Specification Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent;
  • Appropriate qualification to carry out assessment for exam access arrangements.
  • Level 2 or equivalent in English and Maths;
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development;
  • Experience of working in a learning support capacity;
  • Good working knowledge of students with SEND and / or inclusion needs;
  • Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in work and the learning environment;
  • Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures; and
  • Ability to develop positive working relationships;
