Job summary

Lakey Lane Primary School, part of Prince Albert Community Trust (PACT), is recruiting an Inclusion Teaching Assistant to support pupils within the specialist Resource Base. The role is term-time only, part-time, based at Lakey Lane, and focused on inclusive practice to help every child thrive.

The successful candidate will join a growing Inclusion Team, work closely with teachers, families and the wider community, and benefit from coaching and development opportunities within PACT.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school setting.
• Able to work effectively in a team and with parents.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills and good IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEND to access learning in an inclusive setting.
• Assist class teachers in planning, delivering and adapting activities.
• Monitor progress and report back to teachers and families as required.
• Promote a safe, caring and learning-focused environment for all pupils.
