Job summary

Veritas Education is seeking an Inclusion Support Worker to assist pupils with SEN across specialist schools and alternative provisions in Wakefield. You will deliver 1:1 and small‑group support, support emotional regulation and positive behaviour, and collaborate with teachers to deliver accessible, engaging learning.

DBS check is mandatory and we provide guidance on compliance. A patient, empathetic and resilient approach, with strong communication, will be essential.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, pastoral teams and other professionals.

Job Title: Inclusion Support Worker

The Role

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate and resilient Inclusion Support Workers to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) across specialist schools and alternative provisions.

You will work with pupils who may have additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), learning difficulties and challenging behaviour. Your role will be to provide tailored support, promote positive behaviour and help pupils engage with education in a safe, inclusive and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities
