Inclusion Support Worker

PK Education is seeking individuals with experience working with vulnerable, dysregulated children from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 3 in a Pupil Referral Unit.

You will support some of the most extremely vulnerable children with severe emotional dysregulation, requiring persistence and resilience. Spec & Job description:

• Must have one of the following qualifications: Level 2 Teaching Assistant or above, Diploma in Youth Work or equivalent, Degree in Education or Psychology.
• Must demonstrate resilience, compassion, reliability, and commitment.
• Experience with social difficulties, emotional dysregulation, severe challenging behaviour, intimidating behaviours.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Enthusiastic about understanding students' needs.
• Ability to follow instructions from the Teacher and use your own initiative when needed.
• Working hours: 8:15 am – 4:00 pm.
• Must hold a current DBS on the Subscription service or be willing to obtain one.
