Job description

Westfield Primary School: Opening Minds, Shaping Futures.

Westfield is a large 2 form entry primary school in the village of Wombourne on the outskirts of Wolverhampton. Governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Inclusion Support Assistant to join our friendly team. The chosen candidate will mainly support a child on a one to one basis in the classroom setting.

Salary: £20,422 to £20,745 per annum (actual salary)

Hours per week: 30.83

Weeks per year: 45.28

Term Time only.

The successful candidate should have experience of working in a primary school, supporting groups and individuals who have additional needs. Experience of working with children who have a diagnosis of autism would be beneficial.

We need someone who has good written, oral and numeracy skills; a calm, flexible approach and is a team player.

The role will include supervising children during their lunch break and may include administering medication to pupils.
