Solihull Alternative Provision Academy, part of Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT), is expanding and seeking an Inclusion Support Assistant to help pupils engage with learning and transition back to mainstream or onward placements. You will join a friendly, supportive team; the role requires passion for supporting young people, patience, empathy, resilience, and strong communication.

An enhanced DBS check and references are part of our safeguarding process.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for supporting young people.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
• Proactive and able to manage challenging situations positively.
• Experience in working with pupils with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils on a short-term basis within an alternative provision.
• Help pupils engage positively with learning and transitions.
• Assist with moving pupils back into mainstream education or onward placements.
