Job summary

Woolmer Hill School in Thame seeks a dedicated Pastoral/Support role to work under senior staff guidance, implementing agreed work programmes and supporting students in an inclusion classroom. The post focuses on maintaining high behaviour standards, supervising isolation and lunchtime handovers, and ensuring students have appropriate work each lesson.

You will liaise with the Pastoral Team and parents, contribute to data records in SIMS, and help deliver targeted support to vulnerable students

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in an inclusive classroom.
• Ability to promote positive behaviour and manage conflicts in line with policy.
• Good communication with parents/carers and other agencies.

Responsibilities

• Promote excellent student behaviour and promptly address conflicts.
• Provide supervision and support for students, especially those who are vulnerable.
• Support development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans.
