Inclusion Room Manager

Start Date: September 2025

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm (full-time)

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Inclusion Room Manager to join our pastoral team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about fostering an inclusive and supportive environment within an educational setting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee the daily operations of the inclusion room, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all students.
  2. Implement strategies to support the social, emotional, and academic development of students with diverse needs.
  3. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to develop individualized support plans for students needing additional assistance.
  4. Provide guidance and support to students facing behavioral challenges, promoting positive behavior management techniques.
  5. Maintain accurate records of student progress, interventions, and outcomes.
  6. Conduct regular reviews of inclusion room practices to ensure effectiveness and compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
  1. Previous experience in a similar role within an educational setting is highly desirable.
  2. Knowledge of inclusive practices and strategies for supporting students with SEND.
  3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and parents/carers.
  4. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  5. A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the school community.

Pay rates are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanence in the future.
