Cambridge County Council is seeking an experienced manager for the Alternative Provision and Inclusion Team, charged with improving educational outcomes for children. This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and interpersonal skills, focusing on arrangements for pupils in need of alternative provisions. The Alternative Provision and Inclusion Team have an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager who wants to make a difference to the lives of Cambridgeshire's children and young people. This permanent position is ideally suited to a strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills who excels working in a fast paced and complex environment.
The team has a statutory responsibility:
We work closely with schools, Academy Trusts, SEND Services, and providers of Alternative Education Provision.
Applicants need to be educated to degree level or equivalent and be able to demonstrate their excellent leadership and communication skills, commitment to Equality and Diversity and ability to think strategically.
We will consider applications for full or part time working, subject to being able to deliver the overall team capacity required.
