Job summary

Leigh Academies Trust, through Leigh Academy Tonbridge, seeks an Inclusion Officer to support students with behavioural and emotional needs within a mainstream setting. You will lead targeted interventions, manage support plans, and collaborate with families and staff to foster empathy and personal growth.

The role focuses on supervision of the internal exclusion room and implementing strategies to improve self-regulation and inclusion. Rolling interviews may occur.

Responsibilities

• Be calm, resilient and able to build positive relationships with students
• Supervise our internal exclusion room and uphold routines for focused, disruption-free learning
• Provide students with guidance and strategies to improve behaviour and self-regulation
• Work closely with families, pastoral leads and the senior team to promote inclusion over exclusion
