We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Incident & Trauma Counsellor to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will provide specialised support to individuals experiencing trauma, distress, or crisis, helping them to process their experiences and work towards recovery.

Key Responsibilities:
– Offer confidential counselling and emotional support to clients affected by traumatic incidents
– Conduct assessments to determine clients’ needs and develop tailored treatment plans
– Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records
– Collaborate with external agencies and support networks as needed
– Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation when required
– Contribute to the development of trauma support programs and initiatives

Qualifications & Skills:
– Recognised qualification in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field
– Proven experience in trauma and incident counselling
– Excellent communication and active listening skills
– Ability to work under pressure and handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism
