Major Incident Manager – Short-Term Contract
Location: Salford, Greater Manchester (Onsite preferred, hybrid negotiable)
Contract Length:3 months
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Major Incident Manager to join our team on a short-term contract basis to support critical IT service continuity during a high-impact period.
Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of major incidents from identification to resolution
• Coordinate rapid response teams and lead recovery efforts
• Ensure timely communication and updates to stakeholders at all levels
• Perform root cause analysis and contribute to post-incident reviews
• Work closely with Problem and Change Management teams to prevent recurrence

Required Experience:

• Proven experience managing high-severity IT incidents in complex environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (certification preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Experience in large enterprise environments is highly desirable
