In this role, you will have responsibilities for the Government Regional Centre in Leeds. You will be a key figure in responding to any incident that occurs and lead in emergency situations with day-to-day responsibility for business continuity and incident control within the Government Hub and Specialist Sites. You’ll be responsible for all aspects of the region's fire safety and ensuring fire safety plans are in place. You will lead on Business Continuity for the region, ensuring plans are in place and tested regularly, working with stakeholders across all business streams. This is an exciting time to join HMRC and be part of HMRC Estates property transformation.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for the Government Hubs' Incident Control and Business Continuity readiness, in line with departmental standards.
They will be a key figure in responding to incidents that occur.
You will be responsible for ensuring all HMRC Lines of Business and other Government Departments can react effectively to incidents, with appropriate Business Continuity plans and preparations to recover the region's buildings.
You’ll collaborate with colleagues within the Estates Workplace Operations Team and a wide range of stakeholders within the Government Hub and Specialist Sites.
Key Responsibilities:
While primarily responsible for Incident Control and Business Continuity in the region, the role may involve supporting wider team tasks, including responding to customer inquiries, maintaining processes like locker management and signage, and other tasks assigned by the Building or Estate Managers.
