  • You’ll be working collaboratively with business and wider Technology teams to provide first class support during and after incidents.
  • We’ll look to you to ensure that the impact of any incident is managed and communicated effectively to minimize impact on our customers and the business.

What you'll do

  • Act as part of a team responsible for incident management, promoting best practices and continually improving processes.
  • Build relationships outside your business area with internal partners and external suppliers to resolve issues, support outcomes, and meet business and customer needs.
  • Facilitate incident resolution by supporting domain leaders, ensuring timely resolution, and minimizing service impact.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate status effectively to stakeholders.
  • Support post-incident reviews, identify root causes, and implement solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Analyze incident data, ensuring accurate records are gathered and maintained.
  • Provide insights on improving incident management processes, including automation.
  • Handle high-pressure situations calmly, assessing impact critically and communicating effectively.

The skills you'll need

  • Experience handling various incidents, including major incidents, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rota.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a technology organization.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience dealing with clients, regulators, vendors, and payment schemes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with technology monitoring, observability tooling, automation, and working in regulated environments is highly beneficial.
