Job description

We have an opportunity for an Inbound Solutions Architect with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals at all levels within the organisation, clients, partners, and suppliers to join a market leader in multichannel communications.

Job Purpose

Support the overall vision for document & information services by working with senior management, BDMs, CRMs, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand client and market requirements. Assist in creating, managing, and developing the overarching 'Solutions' strategy to meet these needs.

This role focuses on 'Comms In' solutions such as scanning, imaging, capture, records management, storage, retrieval, and document workflow. It also involves developing tools, processes, and services to meet market needs and achieve financial objectives like revenue and contribution.

Accountabilities

  1. Act as a customer-facing subject matter expert on solutions needed to meet client and market requirements.
  2. Maintain a thorough understanding of technical market requirements related to the strategic direction of the business.
  3. Assist in developing pre-sales tools and services to advance prospect and client opportunities.
  4. Provide advice, support, and guidance during pre-sales, including presentations and demonstrations.
  5. Assess customer communication and document production processes, technologies, and legacy workflows, including requirements gathering.
  6. Own the solution design aspects of proposed solutions.
  7. Map and document legacy business processes and articulate solutions through various documentation.
  8. Implement and configure products and services at customer sites as a lead analyst.
  9. Liaise with project management and development teams on customer projects.
  10. Complete management and financial reports aligned with business objectives.

This role requires experience in document management solutions, business analysis, and Business Process Re-engineering. Candidates should have the ability to evaluate, develop, and deploy imaging solutions, with strong technical skills to communicate requirements to developers. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with planning, organization, and attention to detail to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Visio and Project, is essential.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree level education or equivalent, or a professional Business Analysis qualification (e.g., ISEB).
  • Knowledge of Document Composition tools like GMC PrintNet/Aspire, Doc1.
  • Understanding of print production workflows and tariffs such as DSA/Mailsort.
  • Experience with enterprise ECM, EDRM, and EDM technology implementations.
  • Knowledge of document capture technologies, image transformation software, and image manipulation.
  • Experience delivering document solutions in health, financial services, insurance, or local government sectors.
  • Experience in scoping and transitioning diverse data/document portfolios within a BPO environment.
  • Understanding of secure data handling practices.
