Qualifications

• Experience delivering regulatory or investigative services in safety-critical environments.
• Evidence-based reporting for regulatory or legal proceedings.
• Ability to use data and analytics to inform decisions.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implement the In-Use Regulation scheme for automated vehicles.
• Support the delivery of the operational model and SOPs for the IURS, including incident triage, case management, escalations, and closure.
• Support in-use reporting activities from ASDEs and NUiCOs, working with DVSA Digital partners to maintain secure, compliant data flows and analytics.
• Act as Senior Investigation Officer on multi-disciplinary incident investigations, liaising with CVA, law enforcement, local authorities, and statutory investigators.
• Undertake and lead investigations, scoping, conducting thorough investigations, testing, and production of quality investigation reports.
• Act as IURS SME with DfT/CCAV Senior Investigation Manager; coordinate with authorities and government bodies on IURS service matters.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to meet DVSA and Civil Service expectations.
