Responsibilities
- Closing Date: In Stores Sales Executive
- Due to retirement, an exciting sales role at our Wilton Depot is available.
- Responsibility for all horticultural sales activities, assisting with ATV and SSV sales, together with walk-in enquiries at the Depot.
- Work closely with customers, suppliers and the Agricultural sales team to achieve key targets set by external sources and the Company's strategic management team.
- Work a 40-hour week, including the majority of Saturday mornings. A half-day off in the week in lieu of Saturday hours.
- Key responsibilities include order processing, showroom preparation, PDIs on sold machinery, customer sales (in person and via phone), and assistance with other sales machinery within the role.
- Lawnmower collections and deliveries for the workshop (predominantly in winter, with year-round involvement).
- Basic repairs on machinery in the workshop and on-site.
- IDT runs to other depots and collection/deliveries to local suppliers as required.
- Unloading lorries/deliveries in the yard.
- Develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Good IT skills, including Ibcos Gold and Microsoft Word.
- Stay informed on best practices, promotional trends and products.
- Assist with other tasks as required to support the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Highly flexible and target-driven with a proven sales track record
- Strong prioritising, time management and organisational skills
- Ability to deliver high levels of customer service
- Good communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with CRM practices
- Forklift licence desirable
