Job summary

The Learning Support Centre Ltd is recruiting in-person Specialist Study Skills Tutors to support students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) on the campuses of the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University. This role is on-campus with flexible term-time hours.

You will help students build confidence and effective study strategies, working within a leading disability and neurodiversity team to deliver high-quality, student-centred support.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SpLD.
• Teaching qualification.
• Professional membership with PATOSS, BDA, PASHE or Dyslexia Guild.
• Face-to-face on-campus support at University of Nottingham or Nottingham Trent University.

Responsibilities

• Provide face-to-face study skills support to students with SpLD on campus.
• Help students build confidence and develop effective study strategies.
• Collaborate with disability and neurodiversity teams to ensure holistic support.

We're looking for passionate Specialist Study Skills Tutors to provide face-to-face support on campus to students with Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD) at the University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University.

You'll join a leading disability and neurodiversity specialist, helping students build confidence, develop effective study strategies and achieve their academic goals.
