Job summary

The Learning Support Centre Ltd is seeking a dedicated professional to provide one-to-one study skills tuition to clients, helping them develop independent learning strategies to compensate for their learning differences.

You will adapt approaches to meet individual needs within our quality framework and deliver tuition in line with our guidelines and code of conduct, supporting students in education and the workplace.

Qualifications

• Degree-level education is required.
• Membership in PATOSS, BDA, PASHE or Dyslexia Guild is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one study skills tuition to clients enabling independent learning strategies.
• Adapt teaching approach to changing learner needs within the Quality Assurance Framework.
• Deliver tuition according to The Learning Support Centre guidelines and code of conduct.

Responsibilities of the Role

• Provide one to one study skills tuition to clients enabling them to develop independent learning strategies to compensate for their learning difference
• To be able to adapt approach according to the changing needs of the individual learner you are supporting whilst working within the Learning Support Centre’s Quality Assurance Framework
• Deliver tuition according to The Learning Support Centre guidelines and code of conduct to ensure tuition is delivered effectively.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level
  
• Professional memberships with one of the following:

  PATOSS (full or associate membership)

  BDA (full professional membership)

  PASHE (professional membership)

  Dyslexia Guild (member, associate or fellow membership)
