Job summary

The Fidelis Partnership in London is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join the Actuarial and Underwriting Analytics team. You will own and develop an analytics suite to support 90+ underwriters and collaborate with the Data team during a new data architecture rollout.

The role emphasizes data modelling, data pipelines, and storytelling with data visualizations, using SQL, Python and Power BI. It requires initiative, strong stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate complex insurance

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Expert programming and data manipulation skills using SQL and Python.
• Strong data visualization skills with Power BI.
• Experience in Insurance processes, pricing, reserving or underwriting.
• Ability to work with stakeholders across the company.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop analytics suite for Actuarial and Underwriting teams.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Analysts on new data architecture.
• Identify analytical problems and propose data-driven solutions.
• Create data-driven stories and visualizations to communicate insights.
• Document processes and enable training across the team.
