Job summary

Eames Consulting is partnered with a growing London Market insurer to recruit a Senior Portfolio Analytics Actuary. The role sits at the crossroads of pricing, portfolio management and business strategy, offering exposure across multiple classes of business and close collaboration with underwriting, pricing, data and senior leadership teams.

Qualifications

• Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent) is required.
• Strong experience in portfolio analytics or pricing transformation within Lloyd's/London Market.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into practical recommendations.
• Proven track record delivering analytical solutions guiding commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of portfolio analytics initiatives across a diverse London Market portfolio.
• Design and embed cross-class analytical frameworks, tools and insights to support underwriting performance and portfolio steering.
• Collaborate with underwriting and pricing teams to enhance decision-making through data and analytics.
• Support the evolution of pricing and portfolio management capabilities with scalable best practices.
• Deliver strategic analyses to answer key business questions for executive decision-making.
• Participate in business planning, portfolio monitoring and performance reporting activities.
• Partner with data, technology and analytics teams to create innovative insights access.
• Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders and leadership teams.
• Mentor colleagues and provide leadership across key projects and workstreams.

The Role

About You

• Qualified Actuary (FIA or equivalent).
• Strong experience in portfolio analytics or pricing transformation within the Lloyd's and/or London Market insurance sector.
• Proven ability to deliver analytical solutions that influence commercial decision-making.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to translate complex analysis into practical recommendations.
