Key responsibilities for this London based Senior PR and Public Affairs Manager role:

  • Take ownership of developing and implementing PR strategy for the energy division of the business
  • Working closely with internal business partners to ensure campaigns are integrated
  • 40% of the role will involve working closely with the Head of Regulation on the public affairs programme
  • Take ownership of managing a budget and an external agency which focuses on news generation
  • Maintain and build relationships with all media to deliver the brand’s messages
  • Identify corporate key messages and deliver integrated campaigns
  • Nurture and manage a junior member of the team

Skills, experience and competencies for this London based Senior PR and Public Affairs Manager role:

  • Experience in the energy or environmental sector is essential
  • Solid PR experience (6+ years) at a Senior Account Director/Associate Director from an agency or PR Manager level in-house
  • Excellent track record on news generation as well as delivering consumer facing campaigns
  • Some knowledge or previous background in Public Affairs
  • Enjoy working in an autonomous, mature and self-motivated environment within a close-knit team
  • Must be a strategic thinker with proven track record for creating integrated PR campaigns that deliver positive coverage
