Our client is an established independent global fund advisory business with a reputation for leading the private markets space.
Their global expansion has led to the need for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Legal team in London. Reporting to the UK-based GC, you will support the primary fund placement, secondary, and GP Capital Advisory teams.
As an ambitious and driven team member, you will have experience working within a private funds-related role, whether in-house or in private practice.
You will assist the teams globally with fundraising and secondary mandate legal matters, including engagement letters, marketing documentation, NDAs, and liaising with fund or transaction counsel.
Your responsibilities may also include project management tasks such as compiling key legal issues and compliance matters, assisting with internal investment vehicles and client funds, and providing general legal support related to supplier and third-party contracts.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with internal stakeholders are key to your success.
