In-House Senior Legal Assistant - Property | Manchester | £30k


We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to join the Legal team specialising in property for a leading global fashion brand.


This hands-on role, reporting to the Legal Counsel, will support a wide range of legal tasks, primarily focusing on Commercial and Property areas within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will gain exposure to a variety of legal matters, including contracts, agreements, leases, and intellectual property issues, across multiple jurisdictions. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop key relationships with both internal stakeholders and external contacts, while working on a diverse set of legal challenges.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist with legal tasks and administrative queries in Commercial, Property, Logistics, Technical, Social Media & Influencers, and Trademark matters.
  2. Provide general legal and administrative support, including contract review, document preparation, and filing.
  3. Ensure legal information and documentation are stored accurately and confidentially.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to support legal processes and improve workflows.
  5. Maintain high attention to detail while managing shifting deadlines and multiple priorities.
  6. Work with external parties to develop relationships and gain valuable industry insights.

Qualifications & Experience:
  1. Degree in Law.
  2. Ideally, 5 years' experience in a legal assistant role, with at least one year from a university placement.
  3. Knowledge of property law, commercial contracts, and intellectual property law.
  4. Experience with office administration.
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, handling legal matters with confidentiality and integrity.

  1. Highly numerate with a strong attention to detail.
  2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  3. Ability to analyse complex data and communicate findings clearly.
  4. Proactive self-starter with the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Strong organisational skills and a solutions-driven mindset.
