Confidential in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Recruiter to join our Recruitment Team for a 12-month maternity cover. Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment activity across allocated services and vacancies.
  • Advertise vacancies across job boards, social media and other recruitment channels.
  • Proactively source candidates using a variety of recruitment methods.
  • Screen applications and CVs to identify suitable candidates.
  • Build and maintain candidate pipelines for current and future opportunities.
  • Liaise regularly with Service Managers and HR Business Partners to support recruitment objectives.
  • Provide regular updates on vacancy progress and recruitment performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Respond promptly to candidate and stakeholder enquiries.
  • Support candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Provide interview and recruitment feedback where appropriate.
  • Attend recruitment events, careers fairs and service visits when required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across Recruitment and HR to ensure recruitment targets are achieved.

Cygnet is looking for a motivated and organised Recruiter to join our friendly Recruitment Team for a 12 month maternity cover contract. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll play a key role in attracting and engaging candidates across our services, supporting managers to fill vacancies efficiently while ensuring a smooth and professional recruitment process from application through to offer.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of three days working from home and two days in our Birmingham city centre office!

The Role

As a Recruiter, you'll be responsible for managing recruitment activity across designated services, supporting hiring managers to attract and secure high-quality candidates.

You'll work closely with Service Managers, HR Business Partners and candidates to deliver an efficient recruitment service while maintaining high standards of customer service and candidate engagement.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment activity across allocated services and vacancies

We're Looking For Someone Who
  • Has previous experience in recruitment, resourcing, talent acquisition or recruitment administration
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Can manage multiple vacancies and competing priorities effectivelyIs confident communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Can work independently while contributing positively to a team environment
  • Has strong administrative and organisational skills
  • Is resilient and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Has experience using recruitment systems or applicant tracking systems
Desirable but Not Essential
  • Previous in-house or agency recruitment experience
  • Experience recruiting within healthcare, social care or regulated sectors
  • Experience using social media and proactive sourcing techniques
  • Experience attending recruitment events and careers fairs
