Job description

Are you a seasoned real estate lawyer ready to take the next step in your legal career? A fast-growing Lancashire company is seeking a commercially minded Solicitor to join their team as In-house Real Estate Solicitor / Senior Legal Counsel.

This is a rare opportunity to work in a dynamic, forward-thinking business environment where your legal expertise will directly influence strategic decisions and business growth. If you're looking for a role that offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to work on high-value real estate, development and commercial matters, this could be the perfect fit.

The Opportunity - In-house Real Estate Solicitor:

As Senior Counsel, you'll play a pivotal role in managing a broad range of real estate transactions and commercial matters, to include lease/sale, development, licences, transfers and easements, as well as conducting title due diligence, and advising on VAT, SDLT, and Land Registry processes.

In addition, there is scope to contribute to broader legal areas including data protection, commercial, corporate, regulatory compliance, plus other ad hoc legal matters.

You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and stakeholders across the business, helping to deliver solution-focused commercial legal advice that supports the company's ambitious growth plans.

What we're looking for:

This is an ideal role for a real estate solicitor with at circa 5+ years' PQE. You will ideally have a mix of commercial property experience, with those possessing an element of development experience particularly appealing - as this skill is missing from the team at present.

In addition to your strong legal skills and commercial mindset, you should possess a proactive, solutions-orientate approach with the avability to support on strategic projects, and make a tangible impact in-house.

What's on Offer:

This is more than just a legal role - it's a chance to be part of a business that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth. Whether you're seeking a long-term in-house career or looking to broaden your legal expertise in a commercial setting, this role offers the platform to grow.

In addition to career development, our client is offering a competitive salary + bonus + life insurance + free parking + company discounts + salary sacrifice pension + career development and L&D opportunities to support your growth + flexible working (early start/finish).
