Seeking an In-House Real Estate Lawyer in West Yorkshire to work in-house for a major UK retail business, managing lease negotiations and property transactions across 1,000s of retail stores nationwide.

Description

The In-House Real Estate Lawyer will be:

  • Analysing and reviewing heads of terms for leasehold retail stores.
  • Negotiating terms for lease agreements, including new leases, licences to alter, agreements to surrender, and collateral warranties.
  • Reviewing titles, negotiating contracts and transfers, drafting reports, and responding to title enquiries.
  • Conducting thorough property due diligence for all matters.
  • Supporting the property team in developing streamlined and productive legal processes.
  • Building and maintaining good working relationships with external parties, including property agents and external solicitors.

Profile

The In-House Real Estate Lawyer should be:

  • A qualified solicitor with 2+ years' experience in commercial property law.
  • Experienced in handling all aspects of commercial property work, particularly leasehold acquisitions.
  • Possessing excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and manage a large caseload efficiently.
  • Proactive in staying updated with legislative changes affecting the retail property sector.

Job Offer
