Job summary

Dawn Ellmore Employment is seeking a skilled Patent Paralegal for an in-house, permanent role with a well-recognised organisation. The ideal candidate will bring strong knowledge of patent filing procedures and be comfortable with formalities.

You should have at least 2 years’ experience, a CIPA qualification is advantageous but not essential, and you will work in a hybrid setup with opportunities to support Attorneys and manage IP processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of patent filing procedures and formalities.
• CIPA qualification would be advantageous but not essential.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Confident and hardworking with great communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting and filing patent forms in relevant jurisdictions.
• Handling patent validation processes.
• Processing official communications.
• Preparing correspondence.
• Maintaining the firm’s IP management system.
• Assisting Attorneys with additional tasks.
