Job summary

Arm is seeking a patent attorney to join our in-house IP team in the UK, focusing on drafting and prosecution to build an internal capability.

You will work with inventors and engineering teams to capture and draft applications across electronics, semiconductor tech, computer architecture, software and AI, and you will prosecute filings before UKIPO, EPO and other offices, while shaping workflows and leveraging AI to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Focussed on drafting and prosecution of patent portfolios.
• Experience in electronics, physics or computer science patent areas preferred.
• Advanced degree or equivalent qualification in relevant tech fields considered.

Responsibilities

• Draft patent applications covering electronics, semiconductor tech, computer architecture, software and AI.
• Prosecute filings before UKIPO, EPO and other patent offices.
• Collaborate with inventors and engineers to identify, capture and prepare inventions.
• Help shape in-house drafting and prosecution workflows and leverage AI to improve outcomes.
